Many people who enjoy the beauty of orchids think they are all difficult to grow, but those who attend an upcoming Williamsville area show will learn that it may not be as hard as they might think.
The Orchid Show that will take place at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a production that’s been developed through a partnership between the Gardens and the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society. E-tickets are required to attend the function, and entry is included in the cost of a ticket to the facility.
The species that will be on display range from “starter types”, such as phalaenopsis, all the way to species that are unusual and exotic. This will be the Orchid Society’s 100th anniversary, and many of the floral exhibits will be award winners. Presentations will be on offer for those who would like to engage in a deep dive exploration of the subject of orchid cultivation and care, and there will be both plants and supplies on offer for sale.
