What's Happening in Red Bank, NJ…

Summer concert to be hosted in Red Bank

A special outdoor concert will be performed by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra in Marine Park in Red Bank later this month.

This will be a family-friendly event set against the backdrop of the Navesink River. Attendees are encouraged to bring a towel or beach chair and enjoy the music of the season. There is no charge for admission, but VIP tickets are available for $25 for a seat in the front row.

By harnessing the power of poster printing, the vibrancy of this type of unique concert can be shared across the town and neighboring communities.

Among the pieces in the concert program will be Richard Rodgers’ Carousel Waltz, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute, Gioachino Rossini’s Overture to William Tell, and Béla Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances.

Mairin Bennett, the Executive Director of Red Bank RiverCenter, which is presenting the concert, said that this is a standout summer event in the area. Bennett expressed her excitement to collaborate with the New Jersey Symphony to bring this distinctive concert to the town. Bennett noted that concerts like this showcase Red Bank as a destination for entertainment and the arts, and that they support tourism, and bring people to local businesses.

The concert will be from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 18.
