The Red Bank Family YMCA is holding several events for the community in the next few months.
Such special events and activities can be promoted throughout the community with poster printing.
Fitness in the Park is being held this summer. These activities will be at the Riverside Gardens Park on West Front Street, which overlooks the scenic Navesink River. Fitness in the Park includes Zumba, Pilates, and yoga. Those who participate in these activities are encouraged to bring water and dress comfortably. Yoga participants should bring their own mat.
Membership in the YMCA is not required, as participants will receive a guest pass valid for seven days.
All classes are scheduled for Wednesdays, with Zumba on July 13, August 3, and August 24; Pilates on July 27 and August 31; and yoga on July 20 and August 10. All sessions are from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Registration will be opening soon for another activity of the YMCA, Pedaling for Parkinson’s. This series of classes is for those with Parkinson’s disease to help them develop and maintain healthy lifestyles with education, wellness, and fitness in a setting with other people. These classes are free and available to all members of the Red Bank YMCA. Class size is limited to 24 people and will be returning in September.
