Red Bank to honor veterans

The Veterans Day Ceremony of the Red Bank Parks and Recreation Department will be held at the Riverside Gardens Park to honor all those who have served the country.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 11 at 11:00am. There will also be a Veterans Day Honors Luncheon at the Red Bank Elks Club. The luncheon is being hosted by HABcore Inc. and is being held in conjunction with the Veterans Day Ceremony of the Red Bank Parks and Recreation Department. This annual event hosted by HABcore highlights the need to support veterans who are experiencing homelessness. HABcore provides individualized support and permanent, affordable housing and helps homeless veterans with special needs to achieve stability by enabling them to improve their lives.

Senior Director of Development for HABcore, Marta Joy Quinn, said that it is an honor to engage and educate the community on the need to support these women and men who have served our country. Her organization is dedicated to helping them be successful in the community.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the luncheon. Companies which donate $300 will be recognized at the luncheon and will be able to have their company Logo Design featured on social media.

The luncheon will take place at noon on Saturday, November 11 following the ceremony in the park. A suggested donation for the lunch is $25, which will go to support HABcore.
