The annual Red Bank Classic 5K will be returning for the seventh year next month.
This promise to be an event to unite families and runners of all ages to celebrate the scenic waterfront, downtown, and commitment to support the youth of Red Bank.
Participants will be able to pick up their bibs at the start of the race at Monmouth and Board Streets between 7:00 and 8:15 a.m. The race will start at 8:30 a.m. with the Band on Broad beginning at 9:00 a.m. The leader-only awards will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by the set up for the kids race between 9:40 and 9: 45 a.m. The race for kids will start at 10:00 a.m. The after parties will begin once the race ends.
The fee to register for the race is $40 if received by Monday June 1 and $45 after that date. The fee for the Kids Fun Run is $20 by Monday June 1 and $25 thereafter. The registration fee includes a medal, bib, tee shirt, and chip-timed results. The first 1,000 walkers and runners to register and pick up their bib will receive a swag bag.
Such celebrations of collaboration and community spirit can be promoted throughout a community with poster printing to attract new families, participants, and faces.
The race will take place on Saturday June 20.
