A collection of new songs will be released by Introverse Media Ltd. in Red Bank this summer with all proceeds to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The compilation will be called “The Light Between – Songs of Hope and Mercy.” Co-producer and founder of Introverse Media Ltd., Dw. Dunphy, said that this project is an effort to put forth the hope and mercy that have been much needed in the past couple of years, and to put the proceeds from this project towards a worthy cause. Details about such projects and their fundraising efforts can be disseminated throughout a community with poster printing.
The artists that are part of this project are those who are committed to its goal. The performers were asked to focus on the rays of light in life, Dunphy added.
Dunphy said that the reason for the long lead time of release, which will not be until the summer, is to ensure that the compilation is one that people will want to listen to over and over, and that it will be an important and inspiring addition to their collection of music.
Those interested in this compilation will be able to download it from Bandcamp. There may also be a limited physical edition. The list of performers taking part in the project will be released in May and the compilation itself will be available in August.
