Red Bank appoints leader in new role

Adriana Medina Gomez has been appointed as the first Director of Recreation and Human Services in Red Bank. This is a new role that signifies an important step in strengthening and streamlining services focused on the community.

New roles in a community, such as local leaders, entrepreneurs, or organization representatives, often need professional business card printing services to establish their presence and share contact details effectively.

Medina Gomez will oversee the Community Engagement Division, Senior Services, and the Parks and Recreation Department. These three departments are now integrated and reflect a restructuring which the Management Enhancement Review recommended in 2018 and is designed to enhance the delivery of services, break down silos, and create increased collaboration across programs.

Red Bank is expecting that the alignment of these areas will expand outreach to underserved populations; encourage stronger relationships with residents; deliver more inclusive and cohesive programming; and leverage staff expertise and shared resources.

Officials from the borough said that the dedication, leadership, and deep connection of Gomez to the community of Red Bank make her the ideal person for this role. They expressed their confidence that this new organization of departments will create more responsive, accessible, and dynamic services for the residents of the community. They added that they are looking forward to the positive impact this new structure will have and congratulated Gomez as she begins her new role.
