Downtown Red Bank non-profit appoints new leader

Mairin Bennett is now the new executive director of the Red Bank RiverCenter, the non-profit organization whose mission is to improve and promote the downtown.

New appointments often call for the need for business card printing services.

Bennett has a great deal of experience leading a Main Street program and a downtown management organization. Since 2020, she has served as executive director of the Downtown Toms River Special Improvement District. Her experience also includes working in government for the state with holding several positions in the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. In these positions, she collaborated on significant state initiatives and led community outreach campaigns which were highly successful.

Chair of the board of directors for the RiverCenter, John Anderson, said that Bennett’s first-hand experience in state government and experience in managing a prosperous downtown in the region has made her the ideal choice for the executive director position. He expressed excitement on behalf of the RiverCenter to start a new chapter with Bennett.

Bennett said she is honored and excited about this new position. She said she grew up in the area, so Red Bank holds a special meaning for her. She added that it will be her privilege to give back to the energetic community of Red Bank. She said she is looking forward to making the downtown even more thriving and welcoming, offering many opportunities for the future.
