BGCM is a non-profit organization that provides mentorship, a safe environment, and life-enhancing programs for children in challenging circumstances and serves the area and has a location in Red Bank. The organization will receive $50,000 in unrestricted funding in addition to volunteer and promotional support to advance its mission.
Flyer printing is one way that residents in the community can be made aware of such initiatives and activities.
Citizens Bank showcases organizations that make a lasting impact in their community as part of its Champions in Action program. Citizens Tri State Metro President, Rebecca O’Connell, praised the dedication of BGCM for its expansion of mental health services, saying:
“At Citizens, we recognize that mental health and well-being are fundamental to the success and resilience of our workforce and communities. We’re thrilled to recognize the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County as one of our nine 2025 Champions in Action and support their efforts to expand access to mental health services and help create a brighter future for our community.”
The funds will be put towards initiatives based on families, including workshops and mindfulness events.
