Those in Bozeman joining the workforce, or considering a change of direction may wish to make note of an upcoming continuing education opportunity.
Facilitated by the Assistant Director of Career Services at Montana State University (MSU) this workshop, titled ‘Navigating Your Career in Times of Uncertainty’, will focus on how to be adaptable within the workforce and is appropriate for those at any stage of their career.
Workshops such as this often have information and resources that can be important for attendees to remember later. This can make brochure printing useful, as Brochures will allow each student to take the information home with them, as well as potentially advertising other upcoming opportunities.
The workshop will have collaborative components, allowing attendees to learn from each other in small group discussions, as well as practical activities and reflection opportunities. The topics focused on will include learning your strengths and how to adapt them to a variety of situations, the separation between work and workplace, and how to use reflection to facilitate future growth.
The event will be taking place on October 7 from 6:15pm to 8:15pm. The evening will be hosted at MSU Bozeman, in Norm Asbjornson Hall located on W Grant St. This event is open to all community members, though students, alumni and employees of MSU can purchase tickets at a discounted price.
