Cambridge Chamber sets deadline for mailing program

Moving to a new community may not always be easy, and a Cambridge initiative will welcome newcomers while promoting local businesses.

The North 65 Chamber of Commerce is offering a New Resident Mailing Program, and its membership is encouraged to get involved. A small fee is being charged to do so, and it's estimated that these mailers reach between 85 and 180 households each year.

The companies, food service establishments, and service providers that are interested in being part of the initiative can have flyers or other items included in the packets. They can choose the months that work best for them, and they may drop off a large number of items for the upcoming months. They can be delivered to the Chamber offices, and postcards, business cards and coupons are all welcome. Anyone who would like to distribute larger or heavier items, including fridge magnets, may be accommodated at an extra charge, and the Chamber offices can be contacted to discuss this further.

Companies that would like to go the extra mile in support of the mailer program are invited to serve as a sponsor. Those that do will have their logo design in the spotlight, as it will be prominently displayed on the envelopes used for mailers as well as its other marketing materials.

The September deadline to submit materials for the New Resident Mailing Program is September 25th. The Chamber’s website offers more details.
