The 6th annual Art in the Park is returning to Stevensville on the last Saturday of September. This popular festival is presented by the Kent Island Arts and Entertainment Committee, and benefits the Arts and Entertainment District Fund.
The festival is set to feature vendors selling arts and crafts, showcasing local businesses, and providing information on various community and non-profit groups. There will also be live music and food for purchase.
Organizers are currently looking for artists and vendors to take part in this event. The deadline to apply is September 17th, and the costs are $35 for arts and crafters and $50 for local businesses. Each will receive a 10x10 foot space; they must provide their own tables, chairs, and tents.
An event like this can be a great opportunity for an artist to make their name known in the community, and for business to attract more customers. In order to get the attention they desire, many vendors may invest in banner printing services from Stevensville companies. This way, they can hang a colorful banner over their table or tent, and help it to stand out from the others.
Art in the Park is taking place at Stevensville Pocket Park on September 27th from 9:00am - 4:00pm. To learn more about the festival or to apply to become a vendor, call 410-604-1230 or 410-643-9075.
