Trio of local bands to perform in Stevensville

Several music groups from the Maryland area will be putting on a show in Stevensville in mid-August.

Three-piece band the Vens is a band offering a blend of rock, alternative, and indie. Fluorescence has four members, and they describe their sound as having an “atmospheric vibe” with “catchy melodic riffs” and “psychedelic rock.” The final band in the line-up is the quintet known as Heartside, described as a “progressive indie rock” group, drawing inspiration from post-rock, emo, and alternative music.

The venue for this concert is Cult Classic Brewing Company. All tickets will be standing. If a guest has a need for accessibility or other accommodations, staff ask that they be made aware at the entrance. Both drinks and food are available for purchase as well. A variety of beers with seasonal flavors have their descriptions posted on the company’s website. Food includes dishes such as salads, fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, and wings.

Doors will open up at 7:30 pm, with the show running through 11:00 pm. Flyer printing is often used in promotions of events like this one. Tickets all cost $10, and can be purchased through the website for SimpleTix. Five minutes prior to the show’s kick-off, if any tickets remain unchecked, the venue will open those slots up to its “standby list.”

The date for the concert is set to be August 19.
