Stevensville to host womens networking event

The Stay Connected Through Networking lunch is scheduled to occur in Stevensville this fall.

The event was created by the Chesapeake Women’s Network (CWN) Queen Anne’s organization. The Chesapeake Women’s Network was originally established in 1986 to serve as a networking group for women who run their own businesses. Today, the organization continues to host networking events for fellow entrepreneurs to show each other support and to help those in need to access to higher education opportunities.

For November’s Stay Connected Through Networking event in Stevensville, business owner and author Stacia Skinner will be a guest speaker on the topic of online Zoom meeting etiquette. Participants are encouraged to bring their cards to exchange information with other attendees. Entrepreneurs who attend networking events frequently utilize professional business card printing services to provide fellow professionals with physical Copies of their contact and company information.

In order to attend this business event, all participants must first pre-register. The price for members of CWN is $25 per person while non-members can sign up at $35 per individual. All proceeds gathered from registration fees will benefit the CWN scholarship fund, which gives low-income women the opportunity to receive continued education.

The Stay Connected Through Networking lunch is set to take place at Bridges Restaurant on Thursday, November 12 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
