The Mighty Matapeake Multisport Festival is scheduled to take place in Stevensville this fall.

As a part of the Eastern Shore Triathlon Series, the Mighty Matapeake Multisport Festival will serve as the season’s concluding event. This outdoor sporting event will feature four divisions: the Duathlon, the Sprint Triathlon, the Triathlon Relay, and the Aquabike. Each division consist of a route of 12.5 miles or longer.

All four events will begin at Stevensville’s Matapeake Beach and will extend along varying routes, including 12 miles along Romancoke Road, just over three miles down the South Island Trail, and half a mile out into Chesapeake Bay. Flyer printing is commonly chosen by the organizers of similar sport-related events to ensure that all participants have a physical reference that describes the rules, locations, and routes of their respective divisions.

Until Tuesday, September 1, the registration fees for the Aquabike, the Sprint Triathlon, and the Duathlon will cost $80 per person. Later, registration for these three divisions will increase to $90 per individual.

Registration for the Triathlon Relay, which involves two or three team members, is priced at $100 up to the first of September. Afterward, the signup fee will increase to $120 per team.

This four-hour sporting event is set to occur on Saturday, October 17, from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
