This May, the Herring Bay Yacht Club will be hosting the Commodore’s Ball in Stevensville.
The Herring Bay Yacht Club , which was once known as the Rose Haven Yacht Club, is a social organization that provides a space for boating enthusiasts to gather with like-minded individuals for events, discussions, and to support the community.
For those who wish to attend the ball, the entry fee costs $120 per person for members of the Herring Bay Yacht Club and $150 per individual for non-members. Attendees from outside the Stevensville area can make reservations over the phone at the event venue for $301.05 per person. Attendees who will be bringing their boats can phone the Bay Bridge Marina to reserve slips. Benefits will include private washrooms, fuel docks, floating docks, a tiki bar, and a pool. To ensure that all people who are interested know where and when events will be taking place, the hosts of similar occasions utilize poster printing to create visually stunning advertisements that display important event information.
The ball will begin with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails followed by dinner and then dancing. The dinner menu will include grilled filet mignon, salad, vegetables, and shrimp with bacon, cognac sauce, and crab meat.
The Commodore’s Ball is set to take place on Saturday, May 2 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Inn at Chesapeake Beach Club.
