Stevensville studio to offer beneficial lesson

A space in Stevensville will be hosting a fun and educational activity for children in early March.

Make A Bee Friend A Home is a class held by Creative’s Corner as a part of its spring edition of the Kids Connect set. Attendees will learn about the different kinds of bees, their jobs, and other interesting bits of information about the little pollinators.

Art & Exploration Guides will help the crafters with the construction and decoration of their miniature bee houses. These will be made from Paulownia Wood, some of which will be in the shape of a hollow tube, with various sizing of holes for the bees to use. A Print with artistic depictions of the bees will also be given. Honeybee-themed snacks and treats will be available to enjoy during the event.

Creative’s Corner highlights many types of art such as ceramics, aerialism, music, painting, macrame, sculpting, and decoupage, with something planned for people of all ages. Coffee is also sold at the venue.

The lesson is priced at $30, with this cost being per item made. Tickets can be reserved for this activity using Eventbrite. Flyer printing is used frequently to promote artistic classes such as this one. The lesson is scheduled to run for about three hours, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 5.
