Stevensville seminar to share benefits of plant-based foods

Shore Counseling Wellness will offer a wellness class at the Queen Anne's County Library in Stevensville in May.

The Plant-Based Open House with Shore Counseling Wellness is a community event where people can learn how to improve their health with help from plant-based nutrition. The workshop will be interactive and led by Kathleen Traversari, the director of Shore Counseling Wellness who is a certified social worker and nurse assistant. She went to school at Catonsville Community College, Chesapeake College, and Salisbury University. Traversari has also worked for businesses such as Chesapeake Bay Psychological, Shore Health System, and Elite Financial.

Shore Counseling Wellness is an organization that offers coaching and training sessions to those who need help reaching their goals and feeling empowered. The group uses trauma-informed life and health coaching to help clients with their needs. Other services offered by the organization include business coaching, plant-based nutritional classes, and marital conflict coaching. The wellness coaches of the group include Madeline Fisher, Alexis O'Toole, and Elizabeth DuBois.

The plant-based education program will be held on Saturday, May 4th from noon to 2:00 pm. There is no cost to attend Traversari's presentation, though all guests should register for the seminar in advance. Wellness organizations that host informative lessons like this may use poster printing services to share important details about their upcoming programs with people.
