Stevensville runners wanting to get outdoors and run off some holiday stress can lace up for the Jingle Bell Run. Prospect Bay Tennis Association will be presenting its 1st Annual Prospect Bay Jingle Bell Fun Run just a few days before Christmas.
Since it will be a fun run, participants are invited to bike, walk, or run the course. Runners are encouraged to wear red and green Apparel. The course will be around the 5K circle at Prospect Bay.
This will be a family-oriented experience and tickets will be $10 per runner. Kids five years old and younger will get to participate free of charge. Registration will be required.
Santa will be there along with local fire trucks. A Hot Chocolate Bar will have hot beverages for sale and adults can get adult holiday drinks there too. Local vendors will be onsite selling items that may work for those last minute Christmas stocking presents. Guests may wish to get their favorite vendors' Business Cards to get in touch with them after the holidays for custom-made merchandise.
The Clubhouse will serve breakfast to club members and non-members after the run. Some of the event’s proceeds go towards the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department.
The 1st Annual Prospect Bay Jingle Bell Fun Run will take place Sunday, December 23rd from 9:00am until 11:00am at Prospect Bay Country, located at 311 Prospect Bay Drive West, Grasonville.
