Stevensville will be celebrating local creatives in early October.
Artoberfest is a different take on the German tradition of Oktoberfest. This event puts a spotlight on artists and their work, with other crafts, food, and live music adding to the atmosphere of the festival.
Food trucks will be lined up around the downtown area, intermixed with the vendors and spirits/craft beer sellers. Guests will be able to browse the available items while eating or drinking, but should be mindful to not harm a piece if they choose to do so, as well as respecting if an artist asks them to not bring it into their space. Anyone looking for a particular food truck will be able to find them based on the Logo Design on the side of the vehicles.
Vendors are able to have a wide variety of artwork. Those interested in applying to sell their items can contact the festival through the arts and entertainment site.
The event is free to attend. Those who plan on going need to keep an eye on the Covid-19 restrictions at the time of the festival. Anyone can attend, but will need to have proof of being at least 21 in order to drink, and children should be accompanied by an adult.
It will last from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, October 2.
