The Cult Classic Brewing Company in Stevensville will organize an art fair in June where artists can showcase their talents.
The 1st Annual Kirk Island Creators Klub (KICK) Fine Art Fair is an event where people can explore diverse works and show their support for local and regional artists. Over 30 vendors will be in the fair to showcase several mediums, including photography, painting, and ceramics. The event will also reveal a mural that KICK has been working on for over a year. People can even watch art demonstrations at the fair and listen to local musicians.
Vendors interested in the event can pay for a spot at the festival. The spaces are 10' x 10' and will cost artists $100 for one day or $175 for two days. Artists can participate in the event's juried art competition where they may earn prizes in categories like Best in Show and People's Choice. Merchants are asked to send in an application with three photos of their work and an artist statement.
KICK's first art fair will be held on Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. The festival will start with a gallery reception on Friday, June 6th at 6:00 pm. There is no cost for the public to enter the fair and browse artist booths.
