Stevensville Art & Entertainment District will be welcoming fall with a celebration of culture and art at the rapidly approaching Artoberfest.
Eats will be provided by local food trucks, some of which are Commerce Street Creamery, Café Bistro, Jimmy Fat Rolls, Shore Good Eats, and Smoke Rattle and Roll.
Five local wineries and brewing companies will be on site for pours - Blackwater Distilling, Cult Classic Brewing, Ten Eyck Brewing Company, Rams Head Shore House, and Crow Vineyard & Winery.
Music will be provided by Acoustiecafe and one of our local vocalists, Danah Koch. She is a singer-songwriter and musician with a background in classical piano, who sings from multiple genres and also plays acoustic guitar.
Over 20 art and crafts experts will be selling their one-of-a-kind pieces. Some of these items will be embroidered Totes, mirrored arts mobiles, wooden art, crocheted Afghans, hand-crafted jewelry, framed prints, photography, hand-painted ceramics, and handmade wreaths.
People that attend events such as this often collect Business Cards from the artisans whose work they particularly enjoy. That way, they can get in touch with them at a later date for other pieces or for custom work.
Artoberfest will be Saturday, October 5 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at Stevensville Pocket Park, 300 Old Love Point Road. Admission will be free.
