Soccer organization to offer lessons in Stevensville

The Brazilian United Soccer Academy will hold a children’s program in Stevensville that starts in November.

Kids who want to improve their soccer skills can take part in a winter clinic offered by the Brazilian United Soccer Academy. The experience will include technical and conditioning training, a skill clinic, and a striker finishing clinic. Students can train outdoors at Batts Neck Park in Stevensville. The age groups allowed in the program are from 7-10 and 11-15. The training sessions are held weekly in the evenings. The organizers also offer indoor training at the Lighthouse Christian Academy.

The Brazilian United Soccer Academy is a sports organization that wishes to transform the lives of children through soccer and create learning environments that cater to their psychological, physical, and social needs. Families participating in the clinics have the option to become hosts for the coaches. Those who let the coaches stay in their homes receive a free scholarship for their child. The coaches are from Brazil and can share their culture with the host families.

The soccer clinic will be held from November 28th to January 9th. The cost for children to participate in the training sessions is $109 per child. The soccer program will take place from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. No practices will be held on December 26th. Sports groups that offer programs for kids like this can use flyer printing to share information about their events.
