Organic grower shown on state television

Many watchers of Maryland Public Television might have caught a TV show in later January in which a local organic entrepreneur starred.

The firm Priapi Gardens was shown in a program that was screened on three occasions. Vic Priapi, on vacation down in Florida, managed to see the material via a Tape made by a relative.

Priapi Gardens is located in Cecilton, and might now want to attract more business in Maryland by using flyer printing in Stevensville.

Mr. Priapi told The Cecil Whig:

“The film crew, which is the host of the show and a cameraman, came out and spent about half a day with us filming our organic production.”

The filming took place during March 2014. Mr. Priapi has said that the weather during the process was cold. He has stated that it was snowing slightly too.

The Priapi farm is over two acres in size. Back in 2012, the enterprise won Outstanding Farm Operation of the Year at the level of the county.

One of the techniques used by the organization is to sell subscriptions to consumers. Subscribers get a regular delivery of a container of seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Rebecca Chookessi, a resident of Elkton who works on the farm, said that it was enjoyable seeing part of the county on the television. She has been working for Mr. Priapi for more than a year.
