An interactive lesson for a useful and creative skill will be taking place in mid-January, and is sure to be entertaining for Stevensville residents.
Herbal Soap Making Class + Setting an Intention is an activity where attendees will learn about what it takes to craft a bar of soap out of purely safe and natural materials. Unlike many soaps, the ones made at this event will not have chemical additives, palm oil, fragrance oils, or other unnatural products.
The “Setting an Intention” portion includes a talk, along with some time for meditation practices.
Rachel Binkley, the owner of Rocker Soaps and the instructor for the lesson, makes a variety of skincare and haircare products in addition to her bars of soap. These are available through her website, as well as in several stores in Delaware.
Tickets for this event can be purchased using Eventbrite, or by sending a payment to the Venmo number linked on the page. The cost is a total of $54.67 on Eventbrite when including booking fees. The price covers instruction, a recipe, one pound of soap, a document of resources, the talk/meditation, herbal benefits, and food. Guests are permitted to bring their own drinks.
The venue is 101 Auckland Way, located in Chester. Flyer printing is a common way to promote a creative event like this one. The class will run from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm on January 11.
