Participants in the School of Rock’s adult program will perform at the Cult Classic Brewery in Stevensville.
The Adult Band Super Gig is a program that showcases the talents of those who were part of the School of Rock’s Annapolis & Columbia Adult Program Bands. Bands from the music school will perform sets throughout the day at the brewing company. The gig is part of the academy’s Fall End of Season Showcase. The adult program consists of students over 18 and uses a performance-based music education approach to teaching. Those in the program received weekly private lessons and group rehearsals.
The School of Rock in Annapolis is an educational facility that teaches aspiring musicians how to play several instruments, like the piano keyboard, bass guitar, and drums. The school also offers singing lessons. There are multiple programs offered at the school that cater to different ages, like Little Wing for ages 4-5 and Rock 101 for ages 8-13. The school also sells instruments and performance equipment through its GearSelect program.
The live rock performance will be held on Sunday, January 12th from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Tickets to the concert will be $12 per person. Families who have students in the Rock 101 or Performance programs can use tickets from their show packs at this concert. Music schools that organize talent showcases like this may use flyer printing to draw more attention to their performances.
