Local arts center in for festive few weeks

The Queen Anne's Centre for the Arts is holding a few events to help celebrate the holidays.

The first event is the 18th annual Heck with the Malls! arts and crafts show. Local artisans will be selling a wide variety of handcrafted items, with jewelry, holiday ornaments, paintings, candles, and cosmetics sure to be among them. Guests can also purchase holiday wreaths and enjoy chili and home-baked treats.

Later in the month, The Nutcracker Tea will introduce the traditional story to children. While they enjoy tea, sandwiches, sweets, and hot chocolate, guests will hear a narrated version of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. All children who attend will also receive a bag filled with party favors.

Organizers of the event will want to attract as many people as possible to these events, including those from nearby communities such as Stevensville. Investing in flyer printing services would allow them to spread the word inexpensively and quickly.

Heck with the Malls! will be held at the Queen Anne's Centre for the Arts on December 6 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, with the Nutcracker Tea following a week later on December 13 from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Tickets are $25 for Centre for the Arts members and $30 for nonmembers. Guests must register in advance.
