The Outdoor Garlic Growing Workshop is set to take place this March close to Stevensville.
Nature’s Garlic Farm is the host of this gardening event. The farm grows and sells garlic that is free of pesticides and herbicides. Nature’s Garlic Farm also frequently offers classes like the garlic growing workshop for gardeners in the area to learn new skills and techniques.
The Outdoor Garlic Growing Workshop is ideal for gardening and garlic enthusiasts who wish to learn more about growing their own garlic at home.
Tickets cost $85 per person and are available online for several dates in March. Beverages including soda and water are included in admission costs. Each participant will also receive a pound of garlic cloves to bring home and plant.
At the workshops, participants from Stevensville will learn how to prepare soil for ideal garlic growing conditions, readying garlic to be planted, how to practice the right planting techniques, how to maintain and care for garlic plants properly, how to know when it is time for harvest, and the proper handling and storage practices of fresh garlic bulbs. Poster printing is often chosen by the organizers of related events to present essential information to passersby on visually stunning printouts.
This recurring workshop is scheduled to be hosted in Easton on each Saturday and Sunday throughout March from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
