The KIVFD Carnival is returning to the area for two days this July, acting as a fundraising event for the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department.
This popular annual offering features a midway with plenty of rides suitable for all ages and arcade games, such as fishing for ducks. Other activities include bingo, and there will be plenty of souvenirs for sale. Food concessions will make sure nobody goes hungry.
This is just one of several fundraisers held each year to raise funds for the voluntary group. The last event was a wine pairing and earlier in the year they department held its first annual Sportsman's Bash.
The carnival is a good way for people in the community to not only celebrate the KIVFD but for neighbors and families to get together for a good cause.
Stevensville printing services companies are often asked to help organize events such as this. In order for the event to be widely advertised, organizers might invest in promotional items such as Flyers or Posters that will help spread the word about this important fundraiser.
The KIVFD Carnival will take place at Kent Island High School from July 20-21 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm each day. Admission is free, but there are costs associated with amusement rides and games.
