A two-day celebration of classic vehicles in two categories will be taking place in early June. This event is sure to entertain Stevensville residents.
The Chesapeake Bay Motoring Festival (CBMF) has been an annual event for six years now, including the upcoming run. This weekend of activities and displays puts a unique twist on the concept of showing off classic cars by also adding boats. Located on the water, the CBMF also incorporates a scenic backdrop for the main event.
Owners for both types of vehicles are able to register to display their piece online through the event site. The form to do so requires information such as the year the model was released, the colors, the name of the owner, and more. While putting a picture in with this submission is an option, those who do not do so will be contacted through email. Vendors and sponsors will also be on display throughout. At similar festivals, brands will often have Promotional Products available.
The first day is for those who are participating through the display of their boat or car. The events will start with some coffee, followed by a tour, and then a party to end the night. Day two opens up to all at 10:00 pm. Those showing cars will put them in the display area from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.
Tickets are priced at $30 and can be bought in advance or at the gate. Saint Michael’s Concours d‘Elegance is the main partner of the show, which will take place at The Kent Island Yacht Club in Chester. The dates are June 4 and June 5.
