The Community Behavioral Health Association of Maryland (CBH) will organize a retreat to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville.
The CBH Member Retreat is a two-day event where members of a behavioral health organization can connect with their peers and take part in enriching discussions. Attendees will listen to discussions on topics like current events in Maryland’s behavioral health sector, how to improve organizational resilience, and how to improve care for those with chronic health conditions. Many speakers will be at the event, such as Joe Parks, Mark Tesoro, and Alyssa Lord.
The CBH is a professional association that was created in 1984. The group advocates for Maryland’s behavioral health providers. The executive director of the organization is Shannon Hall, and the director of public policy is Lori Doyle. Those who want to join the CBH can submit a membership form online and wait for the association’s board to approve the application. People who are in the CBH can network with national members and save money on conference registrations.
The retreat will be held from November 8th to November 9th. Members of the CBH can take part in the event for $250. Non-members are also allowed to attend the retreat, though they must pay $300 instead. Associations that put together conferences such as this may use flyer printing services to attract more attention to their conventions.
