The annual Be Fundamental Sports Basketball Camp is set to occur in Stevensville this year for its sixth summer.
Be Fundamental Sports is a non-profit group that organizes athletic camps for kids so that they can learn the fundamentals of various sports such as basketball and football.
This year, run by camp coordinator Natasha Wright, the Be Fundamental Sports Basketball Camp will welcome Stevensville girls and boys from ages 8 to 16. Each child will receive personalized one-on-one training during a thorough, three-day introduction to the basics of basketball. Organizers frequently use flyer printing to distribute printed event details to targeted prospects.
Other perks include camp T-Shirts for each participant, everyday contests, awards, and games in the mornings and afternoons.
Guest speakers who will feature in the event include the head women’s basketball coach at Chesapeake College Coach Gwen Barnes, the head coach of women’s basketball at Washington college Alisha Mosely, “Wizard” Walt Williams, NCAA Champion Byron Mouton, NBA champion Tony Massenburg, UMD and Queen Anne’s County star Damonte Dodd, and Andre Foreman, who is the all-time leading scorer of NCAA Division III.
The annual basketball camp for boys and girls is scheduled to take place at Kent Island High School from Monday, July 27 to Thursday, July 30 at 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on all three days.
