The 8th Gardens by the Sea Tour, presented by the Kent Island Federation of the Arts (KIFA), will be taking place over two days early this June.
This is a self-guided tour that will visit eight separate Kent Island gardens. Those who wish to take part in the tour purchase a booklet with eight tickets enclosed and map. Volunteer docents will be on hand at each garden to provide information about planting and will help visitors to identify plants and flowers.
During the same weekend, the 2014 Garden Boutique will be held at the Kent Island Federation of Arts. Area artists and crafters will be selling their handcrafted items and works of art, all inspired by either the sea or gardens. While it is free for the artisans to sell their crafts, KIFA will take 25% of the final sale.
The Booklets and maps necessary for the tour may have been printed with the help of Stevensville brochure printers. They often supply items such as Booklets and Brochures to area events.
