Writing workshop spurs learning near Reisterstown
Aspiring authors, poets, and writers will feel lucky this summer, as a week-long writing workshop is set to open near Reisterstown.
The Stevenson Summer Writers’ Workshop 2025 will officially kick off next month, giving writers a comprehensive learning experience to build skills and confidence in a fun and welcoming setting. The workshop will offer three program levels, spanning middle school, high school, and university writing. The experience is being planned and organized by the Stevenson University English Department.
The middle school program will help students improve their writing skills to share stories, while the university program is more focused on providing a one-on-one mentorship experience. Tuition scholarships are available to interested parties who require financial assistance to attend. Students can apply for the scholarships online in advance of the workshop. Printing services are an excellent way to create custom learning materials for writing and educational workshops like this.
Stevenson University employees will receive a 50% discount when enrolling their children in the workshop. Registration is open on a first come, first served basis. Parents and students can contact Meagan Nyland (mnyland@stevenson.edu) with any questions or concerns. Tuition covers classes, snacks, all supplies, and a commemorative item.
