A community-wide cleanup session is in the works in Reisterstown for next month, bringing area residents together to pick up trash and pull weeds from streets and sidewalks.
Main Street Clean Up Day is around the corner, and area families are encouraged to gather and maintain the city they love to create a clean and inviting atmosphere. The event will be part of a monthly initiative to keep the town clean.
Participants will walk up and down Main Street to spot and pick up trash and debris, with the goal of encouraging passersby and visitors to stop and shop at local businesses.
The efforts of families and residents can make a significant difference in the success and growth of the town and its economy. The cleaning efforts will be held outdoors, and interested parties are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring water and snacks. Flyer printing can help spread the word around the town of such events, boosting support and attendance.
The cleaning session is tied to the “Stop, Shop, Stroll and Dine” initiative, which is geared at making local businesses and restaurants more appealing to residents and tourists.
Participants will meet in front of Reter’s Crab House and Grille at the Landmark Shopping Center in Reisterstown at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 2nd. Interested parties and participants can register to help online.
