Celebration of local women to bring Reisterstown area together

A celebration of women in the Reisterstown area is set to get underway, honoring successful women and promoting ambition and resilience in the community.

The Spirit of a Woman 2025 Biennial Celebration and Luncheon will kick off in a few weeks, shining light and attention on four women from the area. The luncheon is being organized by the Greater Baltimore Section of the National Council of Negro Women. The event is designed to be a powerful experience for all who attend, with the goal of self-discovery for both young guests and those who are young at heart.

The organizers hope to inspire youth and young adults by promoting ambition, resilience in the face of adversity, and the ability to take actionable steps toward reaching their goals. Poster printing can help promote such events while providing souvenirs or mementos from significant life events.

The 2025 Honorees will include Dr. A. Lois Keith, the national chair of the National Council of Negro Women, Rachel D. Graham, an Arts and Culture Advocate, and Carliss Maddox, the president of the Greater Baltimore Urban League Guild. Guests will hear from and speak with leaders and experts for an empowering experience.

The celebration and luncheon will be hosted by the DoubleTree by Hilton in Pikesville, near Reisterstown, on Saturday, March 22, from noon until 4:00 PM. General admission costs $92.55 for adults and $50 for students.
