One of the biggest shows of the year is on the schedule for the Catonsville area.
The Maryland Home and Garden Show will offer visitors a chance to enjoy three shows at once: a craft show, a garden show, and a home show. Over 125 crafters at the craft show will be offering hand-made pieces that are one of a kind.
One of the most striking parts of the show is the garden design. The garden is still being planned for the upcoming event, but a look at the past effort gives some idea of what visitors can expect. In 2019, the display included living walls, a water feature, and a rain garden. Designers took their cues from nature, and laid out a vegetable garden that resembled a fiddlehead fern.
The home show will bring more than 400 vendors together, giving show-goers a chance to talk about their projects directly with contractors. Exhibitors include builders, window installers, remodelers, and experts in designing and installing baths, kitchens, patios, and decks. Often, exhibitors offer show specials available only at the event, and hand out their Business Cards for future reference.
Other treats include a petting zoo, wine tastings, and an hourly bouquet giveaway.
The Maryland Home & Garden Show will take place March 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14, 2021, at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, a quick drive from Catonsville.
