Golfing fundraiser supports homeless
A Catonsville area organization that believes in offering a hand up instead of just a handout has organized a day for golfers to do a good turn for their neighbors in need.
The registration system for the 2025 Lazarus Caucus Fall Classic has been opened, and it will be held at The Woodlands course in Windsor Mill. The golf will begin in the early morning, and all skill levels are encouraged to play.
After they have checked in, the players can mix and mingle before they take to the course for the shotgun start. Tickets include a continental-style breakfast as well as a hot dog at the turn, and a BBQ lunch will be served once the play has drawn to a close. There will be beverages, including beer, served on the course, and everyone will receive range balls to use. Chances to win one of the corporate gifts that will be offered as prizes are in the works, and it will be friendly competition.
Golf fundraisers have proven to be quite popular, and many courses choose to host these types of activities. Promotional packages that include materials prepared by a brochure printing company can be prepared to hand out to those interested in booking space for an event.
The 2025 Lazarus Caucus Fall Classic will hit the greens on September 25th, and the players will be helping to fund employment and other support programs for the homeless. Tee off time is 8:30 am.
