This February, a Catonsville astronomy club will be inviting the public to be part of an activity that will introduce them to the pleasures of observing the night-time sky.
The Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum will be hosting an event that will take place once the sun goes down and the lights turn off. It will be held rain or shine, and it will supply a friendly and casual introduction to astronomy for the hobbyist.
The attendees at the function will be invited to learn more about the various objects in the nighttime sky, such as stars and planets. If the weather is cooperative, the function will be held outdoors and everyone is invited to bring along a folding chair so they can sit back and enjoy the experience. The facilitator will discuss astronomical events that may be of interest to the group, and it was explained that each month will see impromptu activities included in its agenda.
Astronomy is a hobby that can be enjoyed by almost any age. A flyer printing company can help to keep the local public informed about activities on offer to them in their own home area.
The Benjamin Banneker Astronomy Club has made arrangements to host this evening activity on Saturday, February 25. It will take place at 300 Oella Avenue in Catonsville.
