Catonsville area to offer event planning course
The event planning industry is on the grow, and a Catonsville workshop will provide a deep dive for those who are new to the profession.
The course, which will provide certification in event planning, will be an intensive experience offered at the end of April. It will run throughout the day, with a short break scheduled for lunch, and the goal is for everyone to walk away with a toolbox full of skills they can call upon to create events that please both their clients and their own pocketbook.
Learning will consist of several modules, each of which will cover a different aspect of planning a special event. Finances, working with vendors, choosing locations, logistics, and marketing will all be discussed, and at the end of the session, everyone will be able to take a certification exam. Tickets for this educational opportunity are $995 each.
Before they head for home, each participant who passed the exam will receive a certificate and also a certification ID. Print shops can supply those organizing a course with everything from bound manuals and other texts to promotional pens.
This deep dive into event planning has been scheduled for April 27. It will begin at 9:00 am at 300 South Charles Street in Baltimore. Seats in the course are still available at the time of writing.
