1990s tribute band takes to Smyrna stage

The 1990s was an extremely popular decade in terms of its wide range of musical styles, and this decade was particularly known for numerous pop hits. A tribute band has announced that it will be performing for Smyrna fans in August.

Blanked Out is a Blink-182 cover band, and they are slated to play a host of classic tunes that should provide a sense of nostalgia that only the 1990s could inspire. Blanked Out has been described as possessing similar storytelling capabilities that made Blink-182 famous. They are also known for an impressive stage presence, and they regularly tour throughout the Southeast. Blanked Out had been inspired by other artists including Neck Deep, and State Champs. All the Small Things, What's My Age Again?, and I Miss You are some songs likely to be covered.

Cover bands will often revert to proven marketing techniques that will offer a high return on investment while still resonating with the intended audience. Some methods can include bespoke poster printing, asking volunteers to hand out Flyers, offering free pamphlets at the door of the venue, and leveraging the reach of the social media community.

Blanked Out will be returning to Smyrna on Saturday, August 15th, and the concert will begin at 8 PM. This performance is being hosted by StillFire Brewing located at 2725 King Street SE. Entrance is free, and no tickets are needed.
