Two influential reggae acts, The Movement and Tribal Seeds, will co-headline the Coast to Coast Summer Tour in Pinellas Park this June. The event will also include support from genre-bending artist Mike Love.
Formed in South Carolina in 2003, The Movement blends alternative reggae with a bass-driven rhythm and socially conscious lyrics. With a lineup led by founding guitarist Joshua Swain, the band’s recent albums—Ways of the World and Always With Me—feature collaborations with influential artists, including Clinton Fearon and Slightly Stoopid. Their consistent presence on Billboard’s reggae charts has cemented their position as a leading force in contemporary American reggae.
Joining them is Tribal Seeds, a San Diego-based group that has cultivated a global audience over nearly two decades. Known for their deeply spiritual themes and powerful live performances, Tribal Seeds recently released Ancient Blood, an album that features collaborations with global reggae icons and marks another evolution in their storied career.
Hawaiian artist Mike Love will open the evening, bringing his unique blend of roots-reggae and progressive musical styles. Love’s performances are noted for their spiritual depth and genre-defying sound.
