The Lealman Fire District will host the Company Officer Development 2025 next week. This leadership training event is designed for new and experienced fire service officers.
The program will focus on fire-ground decision-making, team leadership, and problem-solving strategies that are essential for company officers.
Attendees will participate in sessions led by top fire service professionals, including Chief Leeb of FDNY, Chief Dena Ali of the Raleigh Fire Department, and Lieutenant Bassel Ibrahim of the Orlando Fire Department. The training will cover tactical decision-making, conflict resolution, and company-led instruction to enhance team performance.
Throughout this three-day event, there will be presentations given by Pinellas County’s leading training officers, followed by in-depth discussions led by various speakers. The final day will be dedicated to tactical exercises and size-up training. Participants will be able to network with peers and industry leaders while gaining practical insights to strengthen their leadership, perhaps exchanging Business Cards as they get to know each other.
Registration for the event is priced at $150 per participant, with additional processing fees bringing the total to $161.90. Tickets can be purchased through the Eventbrite listing. Attendees should note that a refund will only be issued if requested more than a week before the event, meaning it is now too late.
The event will take place from Tuesday, March 25 through Thursday, March 27 at 4951 78th Ave N., Pinellas Park.
