Pinellas Park to hold pop-up makers market

Pinellas Park residents who want to get a jump start on buying gifts for the upcoming holiday season will be making time in their schedule for an area craft festival.

This will be the 27th year for the St. Pete Beach Corey Area Craft festival, which will be open for two days. Admission is free, and there will be works crafted by more than 100 area artisans. Those planning to attend are asked to follow the most up-to-date CDC Covid-19 prevention measures.

The works on display during this juried activity will range from photography to clothing, and all of the items will be hand-made in the USA. House plant fans may wish to head to the Green Market area, which will be filled with an assortment of species and cultivars as well as spices, soaps, and corn fresh from the popping kettle.

The organizer has pointed out that several local hotels will be offering special rates, and the shoppers may want to make attending the function a “staycation” by booking a room. If the vendors that participate in the sort of holiday market reach out to a printing services company ahead of time, they will have the materials needed for the occasion.

The festival will be kicking off the handmade holiday season on December 4 and 5. The venue can be found at 595 Corey Avenue.
