The Southern Technical Institute will hold a “CNA Prep: Three-Day Power Weekend” to equip aspiring Certified Nurse Assistants with the essential skills and knowledge required to pass Florida’s Nurse Assistant Certification exam.
Experienced instructors will guide students through the 21 state-required clinical skills in a fully equipped training environment. Attendees will practice using professional-grade equipment, including hospital beds, life-size mannequins, dual handwashing stations, and specialized stethoscopes. Southern Technical Institute ensures that all learning materials, such as textbooks and medical supplies, are paid for in the course fee, leaving students responsible only for state testing, background Checks, and fingerprinting costs.
Florida’s Board of Nursing does not mandate a GED for CNA certification. Along with the weekend course, students will have access to a two-hour training course with an educator within a week of taking the test.
Participants can sign up with an $89 non-refundable advance payment. The remainder of the balance will be due when the class begins. Students must wear scrubs, socks, and slip-resistant footwear to each session and bring a photo ID, pen, notebook, and highlighter.
