Pinellas Park orchidophiles invited to visit Miami festival

Whether they are native species or exotic, orchids are flowering plants that are fascinating to many people. Pinellas Park lovers of the plants are being offered a special opportunity to visit an area festival that will put these popular plants front and center, and tickets can now be purchased to be a part of the excursion.

The Florida West Coast Orchid Society has plans in the works to make a day trip to the Tammiami International Orchid Festival in Miami, and it is scheduled to depart from the Walmart in Pinellas Park at 5:00 am. It will arrive at the festival at about 9:30 am, and the ticket price for both the transportation and admission in $55.

The show, which will be the U.S.’s largest indoor orchid expo planned for 2020, will include workshops, sales and displays of both common and rare species. Plants ranging from the common supermarket moth orchids to dendrobiums and many other species will be on offer for purchase, and it can be a great place for those who are new to orchid culture to learn and get their feet wet.

Attending a function like this can be both informative and fun, and the participants can share their own orchid-growing tips. Giving out sheets to each of the registrants that include a schedule for the day and information about the expo can be prepared for the day by a printing services provider.

This opportunity to be part of an event that will be all about orchids will be offered on January 17. The passengers will be returning to the drop off point at 7:30 pm.
