Pinellas Park hosts training session

The Southern Technical Institute is presenting its Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) revision course for the Florida Nurse Assistant Certification exam.

Southern Technical Institute (STI) was founded in 2003 as Florida Medical Prep. The institution originally offered exam preparation for nursing students in Largo, Florida. Its courses have expanded and they now offer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first-aid training, medical technology courses, and diploma programs accredited by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Those interested in taking part in the test prep will receive hands-on training and step-by-step instructions for the 21 clinical skills required by the state of Florida. The course also includes a free two-hour practice session before the exam.

The course costs $289, of which a non-refundable deposit of $89 is required upon registration. Students are responsible for their exam, background screening, and fingerprint fees. All material and training supplies will be provided. Attendees are required to wear medical scrubs, socks, and slip-resistant shoes to classes. Each classroom is equipped with wheelchairs, stethoscopes, patient toilet, handwashing stations, life-size training mannequins, and electric hospital beds

Brochure printing is a great way for schools or event organizers to provide information about courses or scheduled events.

The test preparation course will be held from July 7 to 9. Each class will start at 8:30 am and end at 5:30 pm. STI is at 8200 66th Street in North Pinellas Park, Florida 33781. Call 727-548-7737 or visit the website for more information.
