Pinellas Park hosts community event

The City of Pinellas Park in Florida will host a park-based event for residents this March.

Now in its 30th year, “Country in the Park” is a family-friendly event that will feature many engaging activities. These include a live rodeo bull-riding, and a race car display show. There will be slides, rockwall climbing, and other rides for children. Local charities will sell food and drink to those in attendance.

There will also be numerous attractions such as art and craft vendors and live music, which comes courtesy of the Bearded Brothers, Bay Bluegrass, the Angie Ray Band, and the Pirate Flag Band. These bands will be playing a range of vibrant melodies throughout the day, leading up to the free ‘90s-themed electric concert. This act is headlined by Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin & Collin Raye.

Admission to the venue is free, although children wanting to use the rides will need to pay $3 per ride. Alternatively, they can purchase an armband that allows them to access all rides. These will cost $20 up until 4:30 pm, and $10 afterwards.

This event will be held at the England Brothers Park, which is located at 5010 Dave McKay Way, Pinellas Park, Florida 33781. Taking place on March 19, it begins at 12:00 noon, and ends at 10:00 pm.
