The Salvation Army works throughout the year to help individuals and families in need, and its holiday fundraiser will aid in ensuring every Pinellas Park household has food on the table.
Local companies have been asked to consider sponsoring this year's Home Sweet Home Gingerbread fundraiser, and each ticket holder will have a chance to flex their creative muscles. They will be constructing their own gingerbread houses, and all of the construction materials will be provided.
As well as a chance for the guests to build their own sweet holiday centerpiece, they will also be able to work at building a strong network of business contacts. Food and drinks will be served, and there will be two different sponsorship packages for the attendees to choose from when purchasing their tickets for the celebration.
The planners of the function explained that both Candy Cane and Gumdrop sponsorship packages are on offer, and each includes an opportunity for the business’s Logo Design to be included in the program and other materials prepared for the occasion. The Candy Cane level contributors will also receive a half page advertisement in the program that will be prepared to distribute to each of the guests.
The Salvation Army has set a fundraising goal of $50,000 for its Home Sweet Home gala, and it is hoping the community will help to reach it. It will be held on December 3 at The Belleview Inn in Belleair.
