Pinellas Park event to help keep local households safe

Pinellas Park residents who would like to ensure that their homes are as safe as possible but do not have the means to do so are welcome to register for an upcoming event being planned by the Red Cross.

The organization will be offering free smoke alarm installation service for those in need in the local community, and it will also do so for those who are not physically able to carry this task out themselves. These devices can be lifesaving, as they alert residents of fire so they can have time to get out before it spreads.

The Pinellas Park Fire Department will be teaming up with the Red Cross to perform this service, and there is no charge to have it done. They can also aid in crafting an escape plan so that people will know how to get out of their dwelling quickly in case of an emergency and the usual exists are not accessible. Brochure printing companies can supply a variety of materials that can be distributed to local households during an event like this.

This project will be taking place in The Lakes and the Mainlands communities of Pinellas Park on May 12, and anyone who is interested is asked to register before May 3. The planners noted that, as only a limited number of supplies are available, anyone who would like to access this service should register as soon as possible.
